Using a gift cards for preordering games

I preordered Cyberpunk 2077 on Stadia. I selected the credit card that I'd like them to use, but I have a Google Play balance of about $37 that I would like to use to pay for the game. I did not see using my gift card balance as an option when selecting a payment method. Will preorders use my Google Play gift card balance and use my credit card for the remaining amount, or will I be charge the full $60 on my credit card?

@KinglyFeasts It might be that pre-orders don't support split payment (I also already pre-ordered so can't test). If the option wasn't enabled, that means your credit card will be charged full amount of the game.
