Hello, I got two e-mails saying I am qualified two refunds for some games I purchased on stadia. Following those e-mails I got another two saying the refunds were declined and that I needed to update my card info.
Most likely the card I had on file expired or something. I updated my card info with the most recent debit card I am using.
Is there anything else I need to do on my end? It says refund declined when I look it up. Am I still going to get my refund? I fixed all my card info so I hope I am good to go.
Yeah if you have provided an alternate payment method, then I guess best option here is to wait and see. Google is still processing all the refunds, so it may take a while until everything is finished, and their goal is still 18th January 2023.
Also processing a refund to a bank can take 3-5 days, sometimes even longer, so it makes sense to let some days pass and then check with your bank or on your bank statement if the refund went through.
Hope for the best. I did the same thing and they issued the refund to a card I no longer have access to. I'm guessing within the next week at door get a email saying it was declined, but honestly I'm unsure as there's little to no communication about any of this.
@kdubois33Wondering the same thing. When I updated mine, the screen actually got stuck. I left it for a long time cuz I didn't want to mess up the process. But they don't send you any kind of notification that the update worked and they're going to process the refunds again, so I guess we just can only wait and see.
