I received an email confirming "Your refund will be issued within 2 weeks. Once it’s issued, you’ll receive an email confirmation," on November 30th. I'm suspecting there was an issue refunding to the original payment method. I haven't received any subsequent emails and it's been over 2 weeks.
It's been over 5 weeks for me... Best of luck and hope this go smoother for you.
I would give it a bit more time @akim0086, there are probably still a lot of refunds that Google needs to process and they mentioned all should be done by Jan 18, 2023.
So maybe worth to wait a bit longer. Either it arrives on your original payment method or it fails in which case you would receive an email with a link to the notification-section of pay.google.com to provide an alternate payment method.
For some of my purchases it was a 3-4 week wait, so it doesn't seem unusual to wait longer.
Going on over 6 weeks and no declined emails no refund. At this point it's complete BS that it should take this long to do something so simple. It's absolutely inexcusable. Support at both stadia and Google give the same BS excuses with no real help. Say what your want but they clearly don't care about the few people who've been left behind and left in the dark.
