Stadia Pro cancelling recurring payment?

Can I cancel my recurring payment without losing my Stadia 3 month Pro subscription?

I signed up via a Buddy Pass today, can't I just use the 3 months first then decide if I want to continue my sub. at the end date?

Has anyone tried cancelling a Buddy Pass subsciption yet? If so, Do you retain access to Stadia Pro until the 3 months is up?

I gave my buddy pass to my BF and he cancelled the Pro subscription coming with it one day later, because he doesn't want to pay after that (we're normally playing via my account). He can still use his Pro subscription, even after cancelling, but the system will no longer take any money after the 3 months are running out.

Therefore you can't do anything wrong in this case when cancelling your Buddy pass.
