Purchased Sekiro on 23 Nov and requested a refund immediately. I received a confirmation email of my refund on the same day.
My profile currently shows the item as refunded but I have still not received this refund after more than 30 days, nothing pending on my credit card statement or on the provider's side. Yes the card is still active.
It normally doesn't take this long and have been advised that a specialist is the only one capable of solving this riddle.
How do I get my money back?
Hi @brandnew96
Usually if you request a refund immediately, the money is not taken in your account, but the pending transaction will be cancelled. Did you check with your bank if there was a pending transaction (on-hold) that was cancelled?
Do you still see the purchase transaction in your bank account?
Thanks. I did speak to the card provider and they confirmed no pendings, yes I can still see the purchase on my transactions.
Hi @brandnew96,
Welcome to the community forums.
No I am not a specialist.
You did say you requested a refund immediately after purchasing a game and that game shows as refunded correct?
If so, you more then likely got a refund immediately as the pending charge was dropped. The charges tend to wait a little bit as pending before being posted to your account. (I have a few credit cards myself)
If the refund didn't actually go through you would see the charge for the game on your statement. In that case you may contact stadia support here (https://support.google.com/stadia/gethelp)
Thanks, yes it shows as refunded on my Google account, I can still see the transaction on my account, which as suggested means it didn't go through.
I would suggest getting in contact with stadia support here (https://support.google.com/stadia/gethelp) @brandnew96
