Refund method problem

Hi, my problem consists in this: I've bought a game with a debit card that i don't remember that I used at the time. I haven't this debit card and (and I never had it), how can I solve this problem? The support team of stadia said to me to wait a mail that allow me to change the charging method... But after many weeks it's not arrived yet

Hi @sickboy,

I don't quite understand what you mean by "I never had it", when you used it to purchase a game you had it back then, no? If you need a hint which payment method it was, you can always doublecheck on pay.google.com.

Apart from that the support team was already giving you the right answer, if the refund fails then yes you would receive an email asking you to provide another payment method. So either the email takes very long in your case or you need to double check with the bank here, where the refund went to, because it's possible that they have somehow received the money.

I have a similar issue with 3 refunds that got sent back to an old card that is inactive. How could the refund be processed the card is no longer active. I did t receive an email stating there was any issues with this particular refund or to change my payment details. How can I get the bank to look up the transaction. To see where it is?

It's not true about the original payment method because the ONE thing the bank did Tell me is when I told them the dates that Googe pay says I did the original purchase with the card they sent the refunds to they said that can't be......because I didn't even have the card yet....it wasn't even mailed to me when the transactions were made......so it's NOT the card I originally paid with so WHY did it get sent to it? So it's googles system that screwed up and now I can't get my 6 refunds that total $199.58 unless google terminates it....NO I will not get a email because it WASNT denied.

NO calling my bank will NOT help because they says google has to do it.....I'm so LIVID right now and only get "call the bank"(that won't do anything)..."wait for the email" (that won't come)

Wish upon a star and hope Google deals with this. I've talked to my previous bank for hours on end at this point. There is nothing the bank can do unless Google, the company who issues the refund reaches out to these banks and this as it's an error. This is 100% on how they decided to do the refunds from what I'm told. Best of luck with any help from Google.
