Refund accept by card no longer active and both bank and Google refuse to help. Google

What do we do if the funds were accepted by a bank from a card and bank you're no longer associated with. The bank is unable to release those funds and tells you to talk to Google support. Google tells me to talk to my bank and this cycle been ongoing for nearly 2 weeks with no help from anyone. My money is stuck on a card that no longer exists and the bank can't do anything without Google fixing this. So what in the world do I do when all parties involved can't help. I'm at my wits end and no one is willing to accept any responsibility to fix this.

I wanted to add that my bank can't do anything until Google deal with the bank they sent those funds to. Due to security concerns the bank is not allowed to tell me more then money was accepted. Contacting Google about this gets me no where and for obvious reasons the bank can't do anything till this is resolved. What happens in 6 weeks when all refunds were supposedly finalized and Stadia is gone? What do we do then? At this point no one here is helpful in this situation and I don't no where else to go as Google, the bank, Reddit this forum and stadia support are unable to answer any of this.

seems to me we are screwed out of the money all because of this.....automated or not its should have went through and sent refunds to the UPDATED PAYMENT METHOD.....thats the whole reason we UPDATED THE PAYMENT METHOD.......all we get is copy and pasted answers that give no help whatsoever and then get told they are tryin to finish refund by jan 18th......what then? my funds are still gonna be on a card that i cant use and google will be POOF....dont have to worry about the lil guys no more.....i really think its an accidental way to not payout so much....and i say accident cus i would like to hope that google didnt forsee this but seems like its a very welcomed mistake
