Hello. I would like to request a refund for Destiny 2 : Witch queen, the dlc pack. I recently bought it about an hour ago and planned to upgrade to the deluxe edition, until I realized that Stadia for some reason did not offer an upgrade discount. I for some reason do not have this problem on any other device I used, as this has never happened to me on XBOX or steam. I would like to resolve this issue. I ask that you either refund my money, or simply provide the aforementioned discount. Thank you!
Hi @J-Eagl
We as a community members are unable to issue any refunds or anything like that
You can contact stadia support and see what they say. You may contact them at https://support.google.com/stadia/gethelp
I would first see if the refund option is there for you under your stadia purchases & subscriptions
@J-Eagl unfortunately the Witch Queen expansion is considered as dlc/add-ons so it's not eligible for refund.
But of course there's no harm to contact support like what @ShadowKnight mentioned above and see if support can do anything about it.
Hi @J-Eagl,
This is the stadia refund policy
you might still have time to try and contact stadia support and see what they say
Hi @BDAWGG,
To request a refund you will need to check under "purchases and subscriptions" if there is a refund button you can click otherwise you would need to contact support as you might of gone over the refund period.
Refunds are allow as long as either 2 hours of play time has not happened (family share play time counts as well) or 14 days has not passed. Which ever happens first
Do note that time spent playing sure any free to play days that happened with the game also counts towards the 2 hour limit for a refund
Edit: spelling

Maybe I'm wrong, but doesn't the stadia policy say that you can refund add ons within 2 hours of playtime or 14 days of owning the purchase?
Also, the only reason I'm even requesting a refund is because I bought the normal before upgrading to the deluxe, yet I was charged for both separately.

I recently bought division two because I played the trial and really liked it but after about 10-15 I didn’t enjoy myself at all so I was wondering if I could get a refund

Hello,
Isn't google responsible for refunding all games bought including DLC? If we bought the game, and the service to play those games is no longer available how is this not considered as something that needs to be refunded to the consumer?
Hi @Furyian they will refund everything other than Pro subscription if your purchased them from Google store. Please take a look at the article below for more details
https://support.google.com/stadia/answer/12790109
Q: Will I get a refund? What is available for a refund?
A: We will be offering refunds for all Stadia hardware purchases (Stadia Controller, Founders Edition, Premiere Edition, and Play and Watch with Google TV packages) made through the Google Store and software transactions (games and add-on purchases) through the Stadia store. Stadia Pro subscriptions are not eligible for refund, however you will be able to continue playing your games in Pro without further charges until the final wind down date.
Q: Do I have to return my hardware to get a refund?
A: Most hardware purchases (Stadia Controller, Founders Edition, Premiere Edition, and Play and Watch with Google TV packages) made directly from Google will not need to be returned. More details on how to obtain a refund for your Stadia hardware purchases will be posted here in the coming weeks.
Q: How/When will I get my refund?
A: We are working through this process now and will keep this article updated as we define the process for each of the countries and different situations. Our intent is to have the majority of refunds processed back to the original payment by January 18, 2023.
Q: Are you refunding my Stadia Pro subscription?
A: We will not be refunding Stadia Pro subscriptions. Players who held an active Stadia Pro subscription as of September 29, 2022 will not be charged for access to their Pro library or other subscription entitlements during the shut-down period.
