This worked at least for the founders, when the hardware arrived, but they didn't had a code, so it might work for you too. Wish you all the best!
I did try this and for some reason customer service couldn't give me a number either. They escalated my case and it has been radio silence for week. I ultimately decided to RMA the hardware, what a disappointment.
