First of all, it clearly says when you're getting the free trial that they're not going to charge you anything and they did, they charged me 1€ for no reason. The other issue I have is I follow all of the instructions and still can`t cancel my suscription to Google Stadia
@elvisge7 The 1€ is only charged for verification, and will be returned eventually. If you're really worried about it, check in a few days and report back here if the charge hasn't been removed.
Can you elaborate more on what you did by "follow all of the instructions"? Have you tried following the steps described in the help page?

You can request a refund within 14 days of your purchase if there is less than 2 hours of play time across all accounts (family and personal). Games may only be returned one time, so if you return a purchased game for a refund and subsequently re-purchase it, you will not be entitled to a refund. This refund is only available for purchased games, and not for add-on content or services.

If we cancel our daughter's subscription, does this mean she goes from pro to standard, and still be able to play bought (family) games? Or does this cancel her stadia account all together?
In light of family sharing, we singed up for our daughter. She has a month stadia pro for free, but we want the basic stadia for her, as she should still be able to play my games as i have pro... if i understood this correctly... ???
This sounds correct to me. So long as you only cancel the Pro subscription for your daughter, she will retain her Stadia account and continue to have access to any games you've shared via your family group. I'm in the same boat somewhat, in that in order for me to even create a Stadia account for my (over 13) daughter she had to sign up for a Pro subscription trial (using the family payment method which requires approval which took me 45 minutes of fuddling to figure out). We plan to cancel this before the 3 months are up as it doesn't make sense for her to have a Pro subscription since my account does and I can simply share the game(s) with her.
I can not cancell my Stadia suscription. Neither of the options that you are describing does not work. I want to stop the suscription but I can not do anything. I have already sent a complain, but you said that you are not going to give me my money back. What can I do?

same thing happened to with me. i canceled right after it tried the service to make sure i won't get charged. yet, somehow i got charged. the subscription didn't show up under the regular google subscription management at all. i couldn't figure out how to cancel without involving customer support. then finally i was able to cancel, but they couldn't refund the payment i didn't intend to pay for a service i haven't used at all.
Same. Had to cancel twice. Canceled at first because it didn't work. Then today I canceled again after getting charged full price. I never resubbed in the first place.
I'm wondering if it's serious business malpractice (for an example a midwit product manager is pressuring the engineers working in payment to double charge the customers to meet their target and get his promotion), or it's simply just bad implementation. Either way, whether they are intentionally ripping off customers whether it's just a "simple" a mistake, this is outrageous. I never seen any other service in the US which would charge people without their permission and then refuse to refund them. Clearly, it's not an isolated problem.

You're right the company said it wouldnt charge and didnt mention a verification charge so its terms weren't followed and they lied to people about what they will do. Even if they send you the money back that doesnt stop the fact the broke their terms.
I got a payment this and last month and never asked for it,, i am gonna contact bank for a refund unless you guys can for me. Appreciate it.. I don't use these pages ever.
