Not shipping in order of purchase

I ordered FE and a wasabi controller on June 6th with a current listed delivery date of Nov 27-Dec 2. It is pretty clear at this point orders are not sending based on time of purchase. What is going to be done to correct this since I am not the only one having this issue as reported on the Stadia sub Reddit. Contacting Google Store Support has only  told me they will be shipped by when they are ordered which appears to be objectively wrong at this point and when it was escalated I received one response saying they would be able to get send it with the original delivery date (6 days ago the delivery date moved back a week for unknown reasons).

My saga had an ending today. FedEx had reported the package was left at my door. That was incorrect. I checked with the office manager Friday, but it wasnt there then. After customer support asked to verify my shipping information this morning I asked them to ship it to a PO box I have which receives packages since I would be out of town this weekend if it was shipped again. I checked with my office again mostly to see if they would accept the package if needed when I was gone and found that the package ended up getting delivered to them sometime after Friday. I dont know if it went to another door and dropped off later or the delivery was corrected later. I just new it wasnt there Friday when I got other packages and it wasnt left at my door as indicated by FedEx. So it was a delivery problem. So I finally have my founders edition and extra controller. I still am not happy about when my order shipped and now Im frustrated with FedEx, but my main area of frustration is finally over. I contacted Google Shipping support as soon as I verified.

Got the shipment + code within 30 minutes of each other an hour ago. My first 10 or 15 or so choices in username were already taken, but that was expected at this point. Fingers crossed the shipment makes it here by Nov 22, not Nov 25.

@BadgerMy code came 50 min after my order was shipped. Played some Destiny 2 and it looked pretty solid, but laggy in several places. Samurai showdown should probably have a controller to play. The default keyboard and mouse settings are pretty garbage in my opinion. That is fine though. I will give it a chance once my controllers arrive.

My name was not taken. I wasn't really surprised since I can pick it on games and systems that have been around a while still. It was just maddening to see all the orders yesterday and today after they identified the problem where orders were shipping out of order.

My saga continues. It was shipped and allegedly delivered by FedEx. I disagree and so does my door camera that does not show anyone delivering the package. Open an incident with Google Customer Support on Friday and was told they would have to try to contact FedEx. Also replied to the escalated request I had earlier trying to get my order sent when it should have been sent. I got a reply from that email saying they checked the status and that my GOOGLE HOME MINI was delivered on Friday. I politely replied that it was a founders edition for Stadia and an additional controller. This morning I got an email saying that my request that I put in Friday was escalated to the shipping department to be investigated. So to me it seems like it sat for two days to get sent to someone who has 24-48 hours to respond. Now I assume that is business hours so there is a good chance I wont hear anything until after Thanksgiving. So Im a June 6th purchaser who still does not have his order. Supposedly my current drama is caused by FedEx, but Im still a little extra bitter since my order should have been sent earlier, I should of had my code earlier (which I do have), I had no options for signature required or insurance for shipping, and I dont trust that my order was sent correct considering the crap show it was to get it shipped and the reply about my Google Home Mini being shipped.

I also pre-ordered the FE and an extra controller on June 6th... literally in the hour of the announcement. I do not have my code; I do not have my FE and controller. This just further illustrates to me that I should never pre-order things in the gaming world as I am always disappointed with their promised "benefits."
