Hey @Pogsonator
I would recommend you to first try if you can get a refund via the normal procedure:
You can also check out this site to find out how to get a refund.
If this is not working, because of the refund policy, try to contact Stadia Support as Grace mentioned here in the forum:
"We know that some users have recently purchased these two games for their collection. Because of the proximity between the launch of the platform, and the announcement of these titles in Stadia Pro, we're happy to assist you if you'd like to request a refund if you have purchased either or both of these titles, even if it's outside of our normal policy." Wish you the best for receiving a refund!
I am having the same issue and none of the Stadia support pages have an email contact or any easy access to anyone. If I'm missing something please let me know It seems like it's hidden away so people give up and move on. Support needs to be reorganized so it's easier to actually get this kind of help.
Shouldn't it just be automatic refund in this situation because it is at launch on the 19th when the games were put on the December list? This should not be so complicated. It's very frustrating!
@AMMA @Pogsonator It's not automatic refund, since you only keep the Pro games only when you stay subscribed. So in this example, if you claim Tomb Raider DA as part of Pro membership, once you stop subscribing, you will no longer have access to the game. There are some people that might not want to renew their Pro membership and keep the game.
As for refund, try to follow what @Chufu has described above. If you already played more than 2 hours, you will need to contact support to get the game refunded, as they're making it a special exception this time.
