Answer: This is just an authorization charge to verify your credit card. The charge is pending and will not go through, you should see it drop off from your bank statement within a few days. You won't be charged for anything until after your 1 month free trial is up
Me pasa lo mismo , me cobraron 1€ a mi cuenta y otro a mi mi esposa, hace 2 semana de eso y aún no me lo devolvieron.
Te devolvieron el dinero?
Dear Stadia Team, could you please comment, it seems that this community member has not been refunded after two weeks of the subacription...
Thanks you

Same
Thanks for the update!
I signed up with a free 3 months code I was offered for being a YouTube Premier Family subscriber. Then purchased Stadia which comes with another free 3 months. However, I started getting charged after the first 3 months. The codes should have stacked. I contacted Stadia support and the agent was no help. He didn't even try to investigate or honor the promised deal I was offered. I guess I will just report the fraudulent charges to my credit card issuer. Good thing I used a virtual card number.
Maybe if we report these fraudulent transactions, Alphabet will wake up and make sure their customer support is actually proactive about fixing user issues. I feel like contacting that rep over chat did nothing but just waste an hour of my time explaining the situation just to be ignored and get no help. Now I want my money AND my time back. Honestly, who trains these guys?
This was my first experience with Stadia support and it is leading me to cancel my subscription. I figured I was doing Google a favor playing the crappy games just to help support Game streaming over Chromecast. Then eventually the games would improve and not be glitchy. So much for loyalty. I am also canceling my Youtube Family Premier account since they gave me the code I used that was not honored. This kind of thing makes me hate a company. Neither department at Google wants to own the issue or solve it.
Do not promise your customers something and not honor it. Zero stars
I am also going to report the bait and switch to the Better Business Bureau. That sort of advertising is illegal. You would imagine Google would be well versed in advertising law. I guess YouTube and Stadia are not.
As a Google One subscriber I also got the 3 months trial offer, and it also requested to pay €1 upon activation.
I should note that the e-mail never mentioned the trial to be FREE. On the other hand, it didn't mention it would cost 1€ either...
Same.. I WANT MY 1€
2 meses?...a mi solo me dieron 1!!
I just gave my information to buy my free month and I deduct 1 $ but it tells me that it is not valid
Though I cancelled my subscription within the one month free trial period last year, I still got charged for two additional months. Stadia support wasn't too helpful in resolving the issue. Somehow, the help request got routed to Google Pay and they would politely ask me to go contact Stadia. After two rounds, I gave up. The charges have now stopped, but this is not what I expected when I was offered a "free" trial. Google usually has better service than this. Maybe it's because this was a new business.
They are still charging me over a year after I canceled
This means you did not cancel.
