I added PayPal to my Google Pay account but I cannot pay with PayPal

Stadia currently has a 2 month trial subscription and I cannot pay it with PayPal. I've tried everything possible but it doesn't work. Can you pay for a trial subscription with PayPal or not?

no, you have to have a credit card linked to your Google Pay account. Your card will be also used as a part of your verfication process.
