How do I use my Google Play credit for a Pro sub?

Hello  everyone,

I have a little over 10 euros on my google play account and would like to use that to pay for a Pro sub on Stadia.

I have tried to use the stadia app on my android phone to get the Pro sub but I can only choose my credit card as a payment option. In my google play account I have more payment options enable, like Paypal and the store credit. But for some reason I cannot select that.

Note: The payment option for my creditcard in the stadia app would go via google PAY and not PLAY I've noticed. I don't know if that is inteneded but I thought I'd mention it.

So...how can I use my google PLAY credit to buy a month sub of Stadia Pro?

Try to use google pay and look if you can use your google PLAY balance inside google PAY

On my android phone there is no google pay app available where I can select a payment method.

If your Play balance is sufficient it should appear as an option. Check your Play and phone settings. Does Play appear as an option if you try purchasing a sub in another app than Stadia ?

Not sure if the Pro sub is going to work.
I do know some people who bought games with this within the Stadia app.
