Hi all,
I just received my cyberpunk promocode to get the Stadia Premiere Edition for free. Whenever I try to submit the order however, I receive an error telling me that the transaction has been refused. Not sure why though as I use the same credit card for everything else as well (even other Google purchases) and it always works.
Does anybody have any idea????

When did you purchase the cyberpunk deal? Read the paragraph below. If you bought it before the listed date your code should still work. In which case you might want to contact their customer support.

I have the code ... just can't place the order in the Google Store. After I select my payment method (credit card), I always get transaction refused without any explanation why ![]()
Got this from another forum: There seems to be an issue with some credit cards especially Mastercard. Did you try a different one i.e. Visa?

If this doesn't solve your problem, try to contact the Google Store support as they can usually help redeeming promotion codes for the Google Store.
I just tried to redeem my code however the same thing is happening to me.... I bought the game just before the deadline..
Keeps saying my card has been declined..... there is money in my account.. really strange, hope its just a bug, what should I do?
Same for me. After trying the promotion my credit card got refused and it doesn’t work anymore on Stadia. Everywhere else it does , but not on Stadia. Google can not solve it, bankcompany sees no issue.

Exact same problem here... Tried to contact support for over 2 weeks now. But they only transfer chats to experts which turns out to be not a real expert and don't come up with a solution. They promised me to contact me by email 3 times now, but they didn't. My credit card company says there is no problem with my MasterCard. One of the support employees told me they were located in The Philippines... Strange?
Had the same experience .... Bounced from 'expert' to 'expert', but in the end they all closed the tickets with some nonsense reply reply about having to contact my bank ... In the end ... How could the great google be at fault ...sigh ...
I found the solution myself... Just use Google Chrome to open the payment website. I used Firefox and that's probably the problem.
