3 months free but after 1 month do I have to pay?

I activated the 3-month trial using the google one offer, the first charge should be (as shown in the app and from the first email received) on February 25, 2021 but I received an email where I am informed of the charge of € 9, 90 next January 2nd. Did I do something wrong or is there a simple mistake?

either you don't fulfill the requirements and that's why you get charged after 1 month (you can see the requirements for this offer again here in the Terms & Conditions) or there is indeed something wrong, in which case I would recommend you to contact the Stadia support for clarification.
