Unplayable

Frame skips, resolution drops, connection cut outs are way to common for the game to be playable and I can’t even connect half the time even though Im only playing at 1080p (no HDR) with a connection speed of 75mbps. 3 weeks ago it was completely fine with no major issues but now it’s just unusable. Currently very unhappy.

Hey Pearly,

 

How are you connecting to the service? Chromecast Wired/Wireless? Chrome Browser Wired/Wireless?

 

Have you tried switching between those options?

Yes I have tried. I usually play on chrome cast with Ethernet connection. Switching to web browser doesn’t help and is only worse, I’ve even tried switching over to wireless instead of Ethernet.... which obviously didn’t help...

Hi @Pearly ! Sorry to hear of your troubles. Could you run a speed test and post a screenshot?

Make sure that your connection is stable and that you aren't dropping packets, as this can cause problems as well. This is a phenomenon called "jitter" and can be detected through online tools as well. Failing that, have you tried toggling the quality settings in your Stadia app to see if that has any effect?
