I have purchased both the game (Just Dance 2020) and the add on but the unlimited option is not available inside the game. I have tried everything, I have contacted Ubisoft and they mentioned is an issue in Stadia. Could you please help?
Hi everyone,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are aware this issue and are currently investigating. We appreciate everyone's patience while we see what we can do about this.
Best,
James
Thanks for providing the link. I just realized that the unlimited subscription that we purchased is for the 2022 edition not 2021, and we don't have 2022. I had no idea that there was more than one available in the store since the content is the same.
Hi @Chuchoflaco,
Did you get the just dance unlimited subscription while in the game?
No, the subscription cannot be purchased in the game. If you enter in the game and press enter (if you use the phone as controller nothing happens), then the browser opens a tab showing the Just Dance 2020 play page in Stadia.
In order to buy the subscription, I look for Just Dance Unlimited in the search bar in Stadia, press enter and that redirects me to the Just Dance Unlimited page in Stadia. There I press buy, and after a successful enrolment, I enter into the game again from zero and the subscribe button still appears in Just Dance 2020. I remember I had unlimited once for a month just when the game was released in Stadia and it was working, all the songs appeared in the game...
Exact same issue here. I've contact Stadia support and they point me to Ubisoft support. I contacted Ubisoft support and they say they can't do anything, and to contact Stadia support. Stuck in a loop!
Same happened to me. I have contacted both and nobody seems to be able to help. Google refunded me the money (as an exception they said).
I do know that the subscription doesn't carry over to the next game like it does on other platforms (Learned that the hard way after subscribing to the 2021 Unlimited and not having it in 2022...). I just checked the Stadia store and it seems like Ubisoft have already removed access to Unlimited for Just Dance 2020 altogether. It only shows up for 2021 and 2022. So it seems like you wasted your 4 bucks on that one month membership, because Google don't refund subscriptions. I learned that the hard way too... ![]()
That's strange but I'm interested in understanding more. Where did you see they removed access? Sorry but I just went to Ubisoft and Stadia sites and they say they support Just Dance Unlimited for Just Dance 2020:
Ubisoft support
Stadia support
Same here!
Stopped Just Dance - unlimited in december (all worked fine for 6 months) and today I wantred to reactivate the unlimited version.
On Stadia and the Playstore there is the abo activated... if I start Just Dance 2021 all unlimited songs are locked!
Plz help.. my girls want to dance again!
Does anyone know if there is a fix for this issue?
I also bought JD 2021 just over a month ago, activated the unlimited trial. My daughters liked it so I subscribed in via Stadia.
However, a few days later the game would not recognise an active subscription to unlimited.
Stadia support pointed me at Ubisoft support, and visa versa. A week later it started working again, so I dropped the support cases.
A month on, we return to the game to find the issue has returned, a second subscription charge has been taken.

Has this been resolved yet? The just dance unlimited sub is ticking away and when in JD2021 the songs are still unavailable
Hi @Brandeau,
Are you having the issue with just dance 2021 as well?
Yes, it was working fine with the free trial of unlimited unlocked through the 2021 game, but when my daughter wanted to continue with unlimited I bought the unlimited subscription on stadia store but I game it's not recognized.
Is this the subscription you got?
I ask as there currently is two very similar subscriptions on the stadia. Both say "just dance unlimited" one is for just dance 2022 and the other is for just dance 2021

It was never resolved for me.
After the last bout of being bounced between Stadia and Ubisoft, I just cancelled JDU subscription because you should need to spend more time chatting to support than enjoying a game.
I did ask for a refund of the base game, but just got the standard reply of "terms say no".
Stadia is not right for me, so I'll be letting the stadia subscription lapse and sticking to the steam/epic for now.
Good luck getting it fixed for you subscriptions.
I had the same experience. After fighting ubisoft support for long enough and having personal experience with them sending the issue to the right team when the issue was said to be on a different system even though it was on stadia. I know your frustration very well.
It took me personally a very long time before they said they will forward it to the right team. Way too long and it is very sad
Note: i'm talking about ubisoft support here not stadia support
Is this topic solved like the thread status suggests?
I've been on lengthy chats with both Stadia and Ubisoft support on this at least 6 times to try to get this resolved. Fustratingly each time I have been told to speak to the other support team.
Stadia support agent says its a problem with the game content which they have no access to. Ubisoft support asked for network troubleshooting from my network - pointless as the game is running from Stadia, and the latest is that they have no visibility into subscriptions - so I need to speak to Stadia again.
Round and round it went until I gave up and asked for a refund, which they did for 1 month of subscription, but denied for the base game. Surely, not being able to make use of in-game purchase described increasing the number of songs available from 40 to over 550 is classed as a defect and fall under that section of the Stadia return policy?
I've spent more time chasing support cases than my family have spent on enjoyed the game. I hope this is not a taste of what game streaming is going to be like!
Hi @samsyeung,
As @JamesFromGoogle has mentioned the Stadia team is looking into the situation and seeing what they can do. I am sure the Google Stadia community team will post again with more information when they have more information.
Thank you? for volunteering that info on this thread,
I have since been referred by Stadia team back to Ubisoft for what must be the 4th time, and in the mean time, found https://www.reddit.com/r/Stadia/comments/scbkn6/just_dance_unlimited_not_working_with_jd2020/
So it turns out there are multiple subscriptions listed in the store, both have very similiar descriptions - and I suspect I bought the one that is tied to Just Dance 2022.
If that is the case, then the fix would be
1) To update the title and description of each instance of the store item to make it clear which version of the base game it work with.
https://stadia.google.com/store/details/c3ca0eaae154485aa56f0520cd895e4ercp1/sku/d3cecbf76c5c4b23bf4... is linked from JD2022

but they BOTH read like they support JD2021 - and to Chuchoflaco point - even JD2020!
2) Prevent (or at least warn) on attempt to purchase a subscription if you dont have the base game!
I cant even test the theory because Stadia store does not let me purchase what might be the correct subscription.
Oh I know exactly what you are feeling. I had the same exact experience myself.
Frustration.
Paying for a subscription that you get no use out of. I personally did with both subscriptions and did a short video showing the problem with both subscriptions active
