Stadia kinda sucks

I get the notion that Stadia is going to be dead in a year. How the **bleep** can you only have like twenty games only on a platform? And most of the are games nobody would ever seek out to play without some incentive. How did you guys screw this **bleep** up so badly? All you had to do was get all the same third party games Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft have, but apparently the guy who's responsibly that was decided to take naps instead or something.

Yes, nothing new here, we know that the game choice is still very limited, and will be for the foreseeable future.  Not much to do about it now, either stick with it or pack it up and move onto something else.

Kudos appreciated if deserved.

Well I have 25 games and with the April 3 PRO I will have 28 games, Serious Sam is actually 3 games, for which I will have 30 games, DOOM Eternal includes DOOM I, II and gives away DOOM 64, so 33 games in total.

I don't like the controller, I don't like Google's invasive policies and I definitely don't like the low graphic quality in some Ports.

Games if there is to play right now, and good games, without a doubt DOOM Eternal is a candidate for GOTY.

But maybe it happens to me and it runs out of a catalog to continue shopping.

How many games do you have in Stadia, can you show us?

Agreed, Stadia is terrible, with terrible customer service/support. I just want it posted somewhere that I will be happy to see this ship sink

That's funny because I was with Tech support at 3am last night and they help me solve the issue. That's 3am, I call that great customer service!! This platform is great right now. Can't wait to play Figment!!

I can see other opinions but I have personally had a wonderful experience. Especially with COVID we were attempting to buy a house and had to put everything in storage and only had what could fit in our car while we moved to a small family cottage temporarily. Guess what fit in the car where a large console did not! I've really enjoyed The Division II, then Orcs Must Die, and getting back into Destiny 2 and now been playing ESO almost every day! (Any I only paid for one of these games, for $10)

I see that there is definitely a lacking Library for major popular titles, but I believe they will come. The initial reviewers of this system have definitely hurt some of the growth as people just write it off. But for my money, this has definitely been worth it.

Well me as a casual player love too kick it off at a friends place, or at home too either use it on my laptop or tv, but yes i miss some FPS games, so i hope they will come soon, First months when it came it was not that good as any new thing out there, but the overall experience have been awesome!

Thing is, game development and game porting is not up to Google, but to the game developers.

If we cannot play with Call of Duty WW2 it's not because of Stadia, or Google, but because Activision is focusing their efforts somewhere else. To have games on Stadia, software houses must first dedicate resources (which translates in time and money) to port the game. Google can only help subsidising or supporting debs during the process.

New buyer here! Purchased SPE end of October 2020.
I would be regarded I suppose as a Sony Pony :slightly_smiling_face: but I have to admit Stadia has been great to experience and game on.
Big pluses are all outlined everywhere else (load times etc).
For me it’s that simplicity of hitting stadia button on controller, select game. Click. Play!
Coming from Destiny2 on PS for so long to playing at 60fps make the whole experience so much better and enjoyable on Stadia. It still amazes me how imperceptible the lag is even when playing multiplayer and I’m guessing that’s down to Stadia optimising it month on month.
Don’t get me wrong I’d love to see Call of Duty etc but until developers jump on board....
Still. Big titles are coming to the platform and I’m just hoping it’s around for a very long time.
My only negative?? The Official Reddit Stadia forum where the moderators continually ban people for posting positive experiences!  Don’t know if Google is aware that Reddit moderators can in an instant sour ones views on Stadia!! Aside from that external issue I have all in all to give Stadia a thumbs up. I’ve no regrets about purchasing and would recommend to people. At least give it a go.
For me the Stadia Premiere ( CHromecast Ultra and the Stadia controller) us offered me the bestest experience. Over and above a browser / DualShock 4 combo.

Signed up (because I had a 3 months free offer), saw the limited and crappy games... immediately cancelled.
