Hi
I am thinking of purchasing the Stadia Premier Edition that ships with the controller and Chromecast Ultra.
It is a present for my seven year old daughter who has no experience of gaming so I'm not interested in paying a monthly fee to begin with (once the Stadia Pro trial ends) until we decide we need to later. My question is: once the one month free trial ends and I cancel my monthly subscription, are there enough games on the basic platform to occupy a seven year old and can they be played if no longer a Stadia Pro subscriber?
Thanks
Hey @Winnyii,
When purchasing a Premiere edition and using the Stadia Pro free trial, you can - as long as the trial lasts - claim the available "free" Pro games and play them. Once the free trial is ending, your savings in those claimed games will be frozen and can be continued when you resubscribe to Stadia Pro (or when you purchase those games). In addition to that you would lose the ability to enjoy games in 4K and with Dolby surround sound 5.1.
If you don't have Stadia Pro, you can still use Stadia, you just need to purchase the games you want to play and then you own them, which means you can also play them without having Stadia Pro.
Here in the Stadia helpcenter you can find some more information about general topics of Stadia if you're interested.
Hi, all the games available on Stadia Pro are also available to purchase with the free subscription. If you're canceling Stadia Pro, the games you have claimed will have to be purchased in order to play, unless you decide to keep Pro.
I don't know how many games are rated for your daughter's age. Family sharing together with parental control may be an option to consider for you.

If you don't have a PRO subscription you can just play Destiny 2 plus some demo (when available, at the moment there are Immortals fenyx rising but we don't know when they might remove it) and the games you have purchased
