I have a home configuration problem.
The router is far from the TV with chromecast and the wifi does not arrive ...
the solutions that I thought are two:
1. Or use a powerline I already had to get netflix to tv
2. or use an extender for wifi.
I tested solution 1. it doesn't work much because the powerline makes the connection too ballerina despite the sufficient speed. The image jerks ..
In your opinion, could an extender improve the situation? I do not know how to do. the 5ghz wifi sends a signal too low for playability.
I think that Powerline is adding too much delay either due to its encryption, or it just latency. My tests with Powerline have been far from ideal.
WiFi extender might work, but once again it is going to be adding some additional latency which might have negative impact. Unless you plan on doing some re-cabling to get the router closer to the controller you might have to test with an extender to see if that helps or not, but hard to say what the performance will actually be like.

I use a powerline and it works perfectly. Keep in mind that you have to connect the powerline in wall, not in powerbar.
