Hello,
Just wondering if PS5 controller is compatible.
Thanks.
Unfortunately not.
As the Sony tech has just released recently and differs a lot from the DualShock 4 (unlike the Microsoft equivalenent) we can only hope that a full support will be added soon.
The PS5 controller can be connected on android, but the button mapping is horrible. In cyberpunk you accelerate your car with the option key next to TouchPad. When will that be fixed?
Hiya @Tobi86,
The PS5 controller is not supported.
I think your best hope is that the Android support for the PS5 controller will be better later on.
Then why does Google not support it?
Let my guess: The players would complain about the additional features not working? I fully understand that the pc version of cyberpunk probably does not have ps5 controller feedback.
What I don't understand is why Google maps option key/create key/r1/l1 wrong.
Android Google play store has a app called ps5 controller analysor and it works fine.
I can only imagine Google deliberately maps ps5 controllers wrong in their Android app due to possible deals or patents with/of Sony?
I don't think it is deliberate.
But if you want the PS5 controller to be supported the best thing you can do is send feedback within the Stadia app or stadia.google.com (Feedback option).
Please note that this is an issue related to Android rather than to Stadia, because the button mapping of the DualSense is awkward on the whole OS. Hence, it has to be tackled within Android.
Proof for that is that DualSense controllers are supported by nVidia on Shield TV (which is Android TV) and can there be used for Stadia without problems.
Wish it would work on Android in general, too.
You should leave a feedback in the respective forum ![]()

Ok, no Android support. But does the ps5 controller works on Chromebook? (Wired and/or bluetooth?)
I am not sure if it works but it is not yet supported.
Please take a look at the support page. ![]()
Hope it will come soon though, as more supported controllers is always a good thing.
At this moment in time, the PS5 controller is not supported on any device. The same with the new Xbox One controller that has the new share button in the middle.
I am positive that when they do become available, Stadia will be letting everyone know and I'll make sure to respond back to this thread.
I have a PS5 controller for a few months now and its been working perfectly fine on my iPad and iPhone.
