Why is Destiny 2 running at 1080p medium settings and RDR2 is running at 1440p with only 30fps. This is worse than the visual fidelity on current-gen consoles.
The appeal and value of a pro membership is the performance boost advertised. If there is no performance increase with pro, the value of pro is greatly diminished.

If this doesn't improve i'll be cancelling.
@Baelthos just a thought what if they are still in the process of load balancing network traffic?
Hence why they cant push out max settings due to adjusting to the new Founders that are signed up and actively playing online?? i give this issue a few days maybe 2-3wks max for them to correct the graphics fidelity issues.
Thats a good thought and I hope its the case here. Time will tell. The communication on the issue is unacceptable given the advertising. Furthermore, why not provide the highest fidelity during the review timeframe? You only get one chance to make a first impression.
Read this as well. What a let down and while the stream maybe technically 4K/HDR, your better off with current gen. consols.
Stadia is really starting to become vapoware - Think i'm putting my money on Nvidia for cloud gaming.

I Play RDR2 on Chrom-Browser and this is never 1080p.... it looks like 480p.
Chrome browser is 1080p/60 for now, tho.
Still no response anywhere that I can find, but I'm sure they're busy dealing with the other issues that have come up.
@GraceFromGoogle Can we get a better explanation of what kind of quality to expect from the platform?

I'm also hoping google get's that fixed. Playing RDR in 4k/60 (and at some later point Cyberpunk) is the cause I'm interested in Stadia. Otherwise I can get that games cheaper for my PC and play it there. Really hoping there will be an official voice from Stadia responding on that issues soon and tell us if they're working on that or if they have problems that cannot be solved soon.
I agree. Same with Destiny 2.
Thankfully with Stadia it will be much easier and quicker for the developers to update things.
The whole reason I bought the Stadia was because it's supposed to be twice as powerful as my PS4 pro.
In practice it's a downgrade. Framerate is better, but visuals are worse.
@Bog That's disappointing. I've also seen reports of Odyssey being 1080p native and up-sampling. @GraceFromGoogle
@razzzar Thanks for the feedback, I really hope the situation is improving. I look forward to trying FFXV on Stadia. I hope the visual quality eventually lives up to the 'pro' moniker.
This is a beta testing from what I can see, and about the games running 1080p stadia new from the beginning every game can do this or that they are 2 possible routes here
1 -- they lied about that blade power of 10.7 teraflops etc.
2 -- the blade is running multiple rendering games so you are not alone on that blade maybe 2-5 users? Its the only logical way I can see this there is no other point how a i9 (STADIA) can't to what an i7 (Xbox one x) can.
It’s really terrible. Reminds me of how Destiny 1 looked on Xbox 360.
Totally agree. Misleading advertising, not worth being a pro subscriber for mediocre quality.
ask bungie, not stadia tbh.
I do think their marketing is very slick in the way it makes people think they are getting 4k, but it's 4k medium settings, not 4k/ultra/high
I think the first true 4k/Ultra high settings/60 FPS is going to be their first party game with all their technology and knowledge inserted into whatever it might be...This game will prove to all the developers what can be done with the unlimited power of STADIA, whatever that first party game is, is going to be the LEGACY of Stadia
I feel it should be an RPG a single player heavy game so they can go all out and not worry about multiplayer
