I recently bought the Stadia Premier edition. I am not using the Chromecast as I am using Xioami TV with build-in Android TV. I installed Stadia and before I got the Stadia joystick I played with PS4 one and had no issues at all. After I got the Stadia controller I played 1-2 times and then it started to do some wired stuff. What is my problem? When I turn on Stadia app from my Android TV and then turn on the Stadia controller, it is blinking white and then turns to solid white which should mean it is connected, but it is not. So I manage after a lot of trying to make it work. What I do is turn off the controller and then force close the Stadia app from my TV. Then open the app from my TV and then turn on the controller and then the controller it is working fine. And next time I have to do this all over again. And my question is why it is not working at the first place?
When I turn on the controller it blinks white and then turns to solid white and it is not working. I then try to turn off and on again it starts to blink white I enter the 4 buttons which I see on my TV the controller is buzzing everytime I click on a button and then it turn to solid white again, but nothing is happening and I do not see my controller in Stadia TV app and also I saw in a video those 4 buttons that are showing it should turn to green which are not. So my main question is what I should do and what I am doing wrong? I am new to Stadia so maybe it is something I do not do correctly?
Sorry maybe I was not totally clear but what I am suggesting to connect your Stadia controller to the 2.4GHz WiFi network.
Please keep your phone and and your TV on the 5GHz WiFi network.
When setting up the Stadia controler on the Stadia mobile app you can select the 2.4GHz.
The controller only has some issues from time to time with 5GHz WiFi. ![]()
You have setup your Stadia controller by using the Stadia app on mobile correct?
So you Stadia controller is connected to you local WiFi.
If so and you are having these issue can you verify if the Stadia controller is connected to 2.4GHz WiFi network? The reason I ask is because there can be some issues when connected to 5GHz WiFi with the Stadia controller.
When the connection with WiFi is succesfull on your Stadia controller you always have to push in the code that is available on Stadia running on your TV. ![]()

Hi, @RXShorty , thanks for answering me.
I am using both 5Ghz and 2.4GHz in my home. But almost all devices are connected to the 5GHz network. (same router, btw, different WiFi names). My phone (which I used to setup the controller) is connected to the 5GHz and my TV is also Wifi connected (not by LAN) to the 5GHz network. And when I setup the controller for the first time I didn't had any issues, but you are telling now that my controller is connecting to the 2.4GHz? I still don't get what I have to do in order to fix this issue. I don't want to switch to 2.4GHz Wifi as it is much slower.
