I usually play on Chromecast with stadia controller and it had been working great with unnoticeable lags. My network setup hasn't changed either and I usually don't run anything other than stadia for the sake of bandwidth. Connection has always been okay , and passed the speed test on stadia website. However, these few days the controller started to act up. Input lags are a few seconds, making most of games unplayable. At least on destiny 2 and tomb raider which I have been playing. Anyone shares the same experience and any help?
Hi @GAPGAP,
at least not really on my side. Playing in Germany, 150Mbit/s connection. No issues in regards to latency, input lags, etc. at all.
Last time I played was on Sunday, so no information from my side if something is going in since this week.
Fingers crossed that you get your issues resolved.
Exact same issue when playing Division 2. The sound is in sync but the video lags super bad, but only on chromecast. Any work around yet?
Hi Kn0wb0ttie, sorry to hear that. Is this issue exclusive to that title?
@GAPGAP I personally have not experienced what you're describing. I play almost everyday on the Chromecast with the controller.
You can try factory reset your controller and set it up again, hope that'll resolve it. https://support.google.com/stadia/answer/9584135?hl=en
