[Known Issue] Screen not displaying Linking Code

If you're experiencing an issue where you're unable to see the Linking Code, please follow the steps below to manually enable the Stadia Linking Code for pairing to your Chromecast.

  1. Navigate to the Home App
  2. Tap on your Chromecast Ultra device
  3. Tap the ic_settings_black_2x_web_24dp.png icon
  4. Tap Ambient Mode Settings
  5. Scroll to the bottom and select Show Stadia Controller linking code

Perché se su google home seleziono non mostrare codice collegamento il controller non si collega e se invece lo seleziono si connette in automatico. Vorrei che non si vedesse il codice di collegamento sulla schermata di chromecast.

And what if the stadia isn't in the ambient mode menu? Then you are stuck for months with no help :disappointed_face:

You can try going to the google home app and pressing what ever you have the google stadia in to  and go into the settings and press show code but you might have to scroll down to see more options.

There is no point or sub menu called „Show Stadia Controller linking code“

That option is available. But please note this post is about the linking code using the Chromecast Ultra on your TV. :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:

This is not related to any issues with linking your Stadia controller to Chrome Browser.

I've looked, it just came in today, and the bottom option is slide show speed. It just upgraded itself when I installed it so what next?
