@williamthrill : You need to raise this with your ISP, and they can then relay the issue to the NOC and get these sort of issues resolved. However, you probably need to provide some evidence, for example traceroutes to a number of different addresses so that you can provide data about the additional latency being added during the hops.
Most likely it is just a routing issue that is adding this extra delay, the sort of network issue that in all honesty should be picked up on through automatic processes, however sometimes things slip through the cracks and get missed.
hey im also having the same issue ,it seems google is telling everyone who complains about the ping issue that it is not on googles end where the issue is..which it IS!!!!!!! i built a brand new pc because google told me its my end its my hardware ,still same problem with the ping its terrible 20-45 MS ping higher in all servers. smh
same, also had a tech come over and i had him to stop testing their Austin server ,and asked him to test dallas and other states and he saw his device had same problem 20-45 + ping latency and he said he doesnt know the problem, yet again google is telling me its not their problem.
I'm having this issue as well latency of >50msec. Additionally on geforcenow and even on shadow pc same issue. I was able to slightly cirumvent it getting pings of 30msec by using 1.1.1.1 from cloudfare so my data was routing via a different route but still with unaccceptable latency. My brother lives in NYC where there is a lot of data congestion and he has a cable line vs fiber optic and his times at <10msec loaded latency. I've asked neighboors who have att and spectrum and their latency times are <11 msec on slower speed networks.
