Hello, there!
I'm trying Stadia and so far loving it, but I have a problem. I'm using a Mac and a Dualshock 3 controller (PS3), but the L2 + R2 buttons don't work. It's not the controller itself, because it works on the PS3 no problem. I know Dualshock isn't initially on the "supported" controllers, but maybe some of you know why...
Thanks a lot!
Hi @dcuatro
Did you try to reach the stadia support to see if there are additional troubleshooting steps?
I recommend you also to send a feedback using in Stadia
I HAVE THIS SAME PROBLEM WHAT MUST I DO??
DID YOU KNOW THE SOLUTUION FOR THIS
I felt your pain in relation to using DS4 and playing in a Mac.
last week I took delivery of Stadia Premiere Edition and without a doubt it’s a complete new experience. Stadias hardware really does the service justice in that respect. And I would class myself as a Sony fan. Playing Destiny2 @@60fps though always brings a smile to my face in comparison to the consoles 30fps cap!
if you can and you enjoy Stadia seriously consider the Premiere edition ;). Stadias controller is fantastic too.
So still no solution for the L2/R2 issue with Dualshock 3 PS controller?
I had a similar issue with Steam over MACOS and the guys from Steam issued an update config for the controller - I was hoping that something similar can be achieved here, if Stadia is willing to do that...
Same issue with L2/R2 and arrow keys using DS3 controller. Would be cool to fix it
Must Got some kit issue , some time it get s carbon on chip and cureent cant pass throught it

@dcuatro I know this thread has been open for a while so you might have already realised what the answer is.
For the DUALSHOCK®3 controller on Mac it won't be possible for it to work on Stadia and have the L2+R2 buttons functioning from what I can gather from some light research it's to do with the way that the Mac OS processes the information from the controller.
That's not to say you couldn't try some sort of mapping software and try to remap the controller with a program like SCPtoolkit but I don't think this is the most elegant solution and you might as well either invest in a DUALSHOCK®4 or a stadia pro controller, whatever feels best for you.
This is a bs issue, if GeforceNow can handle my dual shock 3 seems logical that Stadia should, I'm pretty sure the whole reason for Stadia was to reduce the need for buying new hardware, but I get it they created a crappie control and they need to sell it.
