I would suggest trying to factory reset the controller and connecting it to your wifi again.
To factory reset your controller
buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds.
Note: After you perform a factory reset, you'll need to set up a Wi-Fi connection again in the Stadia app

Sorry to hear about the issue with your controller. Quick question....what are you using to play Stadia on your TV? Chromecast Ultra? Google TV? or an Android TV?
