Connection with stadia getting worse and worse

At home I have 70mb speeds (cable) to stadia. Connection was horrible after 6pm the first week i got my founders edition (I contacted support and they said it might be because of the increased amount of people playing at that time).

I play only on the chromecast ultra (with wired ethernet).... and now the connection gradually became worse and worse... and now it's so bad that I can't play at all because the stutters and lags are just horrendous.

Is anyone else having similar issues? Really hope I get a fix for this since I paid 200$ to experience "the future of gaming" and now it's just collecting dust because it's unplayable even with a decent internet connection.

@Pearly what's your lantency when you do a speed test? Internet speeds are almost irrelevant in Stadia.

@frozst the speed test offered by stadia doesn’t show my latency but usually on tests like ookla I have about 25ms latency... The first week I got stadia... my connection speeds would be about 70mb but would drop to below 10 and maybe even 1 or 2 mb in the afternoon I’ve just been getting more and more hiccups with stadia and my connections speeds have been going down far earlier in the day to the point it’s unplayable for the majority of the time.

Then I'm afraid you need to check with your Internet provided, nothing Google can help with here.

Sounds more like your ISP needs to send a tech out and do a line check and/or check your modem and interior cable fittings. Had a similar problem a few years back and after a week of tech visits they figured out there was a problem on the line. They replaced the line outside my house and so far the problem has never come back.

@Pearly If you are having this issue all around your different method of playing I am 99% sure it is in relation with the quality of your internet service or you are having wifi interferance in your house.
