Connection problems

Jump to Best Response

Hey,

Stadia runs fine on my Chromecast Ultra and my huawei phone (Mate 20 pro), but is very laggy on my windows laptop with chrome and my Huawei Tablet (M5 lite, not supported).

Do you have any tips what I can try to solve the problem? I already chose only 720p.

Best regards

Thanks for your help.

The problem was solved as follow:

Tablet: turn off Bluetooth and gps function, probably same antenna.

Notebook: unfortunately, this didn't solve the problem for my notebook. Connection via Cable solved the problem.

Best regards

Hey @jaywee,

My first suggestion is to try turning off/deleting any chrome extensions.  Depending on which ones you have set up, it can def. hinder the gameplay experience.

Thanks, but I tried that already, using the incognito mode, with no positive effect.

Hi @jaywee,

Thanks for the post. I'm sorry you are having connection issues. I know how lame it can be. I'd love to help by just asking some questions here to make sure that we can understand all angles of the issue.

  • I was curious as to how your devices are all connected?
  • You did already answer your own question about your tablet. Since it's not officially supported, we can't promise the most optimal experience.
  • Have you run a speed test to check internet speeds on each device?
  • If you are using wifi, I also wonder if your CCU and your mobile device just have better wifi antennae than your laptop does.

Okay I know we don't have a solution here yet, but once we get some more insight, it might help us on the right directions for troubleshooting options. Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Best,

James
