I am looking to buy a Chromebook to play Football Manager 2020 via Stadia and would appreciate some advice. A machine with Full HD that can support 1920 x 1080 resolution and 4 GB RAM. I am not sure if I would need a quad core processor. Any advice appreciated! Thanks in advance ![]()
I recently bought the Lenovo Flex 5 chromebook and runs Stadia great. Played Destiny 2, ESO and Tomb Raider on it with no issues.

I think there are a lot of interesting options, depending on the country you live (as some availability is limited in certain countries).
I personally play on TV and the HP Chromebook x360 12b and I am super satisfied with the performance.
But I guess you are thinking of a greater display if you focus on gaming. So I would definitely recommend following options:
Google Pixelbook Go, HP Chromebook x360 14b, Lenovo Chromebook S340 or Flex 5 (as already mentioned), Acer Chromebook 314 /315 or the Asus Chromebook Flip C434 / C436.
I think the processor performance does not really matter - that's the key advantage of using Stadia.
All Chromebooks are nicely built and great options from my opinion - depending on local availability and your budget ![]()
I dont want to stop you from trying Stadia but if you want to buy a Chromebook only for Football Manger you might want to wait till the save game issue is solved.

I never played Footbal Manager and I love Stadia but I want to give you a hint about this problem.
I didn’t have this issue when I was playing on the MacBook Air I had from work.
Thanks for your advice! I have ordered the Acer Chromebook 315. It’s 15”6 Full HD, 4Gb RAM, with A6 processor (APU) so I am hopeful it will run FM on Stadia comfortably.
