can a game be "free" twice?

I am new to stadia, I took a pro subscription thinking I could play dead by daylight for free.

I just understood that the game is free for a limited time, so my question is:

is it possible for the game to become free again?

Since now it never happened, but Dead By Daylight was put on discount several times, keep monitoring the store, you may found an interesting discount and if you buy it you can play even without a subscription

Yes, this is a common misconception, you don't need any subscription to play on Stadia

Stadia pro gives you the following vantages

Resolution up to 4k
A selection of free games to play while subscribed
HDR and 5.1 surround
Exclusive discount on Store

But all of those are not needed to play, you can purchase any game with or without a subscription and said game is your to play at any time, the only limit is that you are limited to Full HD 1080p resolution
