Transaction cannot be completed [OR-HDT-01]

I am trying to buy Cyberpunk 2077 after hearing that it runs great on Stadia but every time I try to I get this error message:

Your transaction cannot be completed. [OR-HDT-01]. I have done all the suggestions online including making sure my billing address is correct, using a different device, and using a different credit card. This is my first time attempting to purchase a game through Stadia, but I was able to use my credit card to get the one month free trial to Stadia pro earlier today. I know it's a free trial, but I still had to input my credit card and it accepted it so I am not sure why I can't purchase the game. Any help or suggestions would be very appreciated.

Hey @Johnnn,

sorry to hear you have this problem purchasing Cyberpunk.

I would recommend as you receive that specific error message about your transaction to try to follow this article for troubleshooting steps. I noticed you have tried some things already, but maybe that article gives you indications of what else you can try there.

If you have other payment methods like Google Play balance, PayPal, etc. you can also try to purchase the game via Android in the Stadia app, maybe that works better.

I ended up making another google account to see if it was an account issue but I was still unable to purchase Cyberpunk 2077. However I can purchase other games, so I have no idea what is going on.

I'm having the exact same issue. I thought since it was a new account I was an issue with my settings. Double checked my billing address and that it matched my payment account... yep. Went through the troubleshooting documentation provided no issues. Tried to get in line to talk to some one, was 60th in line and it took 5min to move forward one spot, so that's a dead end. I just paid for the monthly Stadia Pro account, so the card works, but the clock is ticking on my free month and I cant play Cyberpunk 2077 yet.

Ya, I have seen others have this issue as well. I have spoken to Stadia support twice and both times they said I would get an email within 24 hours with a solution, but it has been two days since I last spoke to them and still nothing. They seem to be just as lost as we are as to why this is happening. I am going to attempt to talk to Google Pay support to see if they can maybe help, but if not I am just going to give up. I was really looking forward to playing this game but I guess I will just have to wait for next gen consoles to become more available.

I am having the same issue.

Just quietly... Support have no idea what's going on and what's causing the problem.

The support teams seemed panicked about this issue.

I will update as I get more info.

Having this same issue. Stadia Pro charges went through no issue, but trying to buy Cyberpunk results in OR-HDT-01 error.

Update:

Google have no idea what the problem is. They have escalated to 2 specialist teams. They had no idea.

They now told me they need 7 Days to investigate. Epic Fail.

I will keep you all updated.

UPDATE:

So as terrible as it is Google no longer responds to any message regarding this issues across multiple communication methods.

I have cancelled my subscription and i'm buying a PS5.

In the end Stadia kept blaming Google Pay and Google pay kept blaming Stadia.... Then Silence.

So...

Everyone just buy a PS5. Lets let Stadia die quietly.

Hi,

i had same issue with Red Dead Redemption, tried multiple credit cards on stadia website, but when i tried to buy the game from android app, it went trough normally.

This is so called "fraud" error. Unrecoverable meaning Paypal=Google red flagged you as person not just your account for life.

I would not add new cards, absolutely no bank account, any personal information. Error means they started profiling you.

When I added new card, they flipped power in house, probably for tracking purposes.

Fakenamegenerator and gift cards purchased by strangers with cash is only option left for you after this error.
