Do you have this issue only on the input with the Chromecast Ultra?
If so you could you check if you have your Vizio TV in Gaming mode for the Chromecast Ultra, this could help.

So I just got my Ultra and was playing stadia maybe 2 hours , and then went to bed when I woke up my tv was doing this dimming (and no it's not the back light setting) it was a very consistent every 5 seconds then 2 seconds after that first dim. And repeated.

The best way I can describe the dimming is like a pulse. Sorta like when you change your screen display from game to vivid , how there's a clear jump is shade. It's doing that consistently. That's the only thing that has changed in my set up is the CCU.

I fell asleep tv on , woke up to noticeable flickering (but never going black or disappearing) went to unplug my chromecast and it was hot.last I checked smh tv is still doing it with zero connections....I have a vizio tv anyone else have this issue or something similar?
