Account / Chromecast Ultra connection problems

Good day.
I am the owner of a Stadia Premiere package as of today.

Full of anticipation, I unpacked this about four hours ago and have been trying to play with my television ever since.

I was able to set up the chromecast ultra very quickly, as I already use google home in other areas anyway.

Setting up the controller with the app was no problem.

Up to here everything went smoothly.

But now the Chromecast asks me to connect the account to my Stadia app.

To do this, I should simply click on my avatar. Then click on "Add Account to Chromecast" and then continue there.

Unfortunately, I can't see a Chromecast in there. In the help section I only read that I should otherwise try it with my television.

Of course I have already tried several times to ask my beamer to set up my chromecast, which has not worked so far (irony ... just in case.).

The Chromecast Ultra is on the Internet via a network cable and the Iphone 12 is of course in the same network via WiFi.

I can also use the Chromecast as normal and can find it via Youtube or Spotify, for example.

But the Stadia app doesn't let me get any further.

So far I'm very frustrated and don't know what else to do.

I would be very happy if someone here can help me.

Just in case someone has the same problem.

Just call a friend on an Android based phone and you are good to go :).

I took out my old Galaxy S7 Edge and immediately completed the setup. I don't know why, but I just couldn't complete the setup with my iphone.

I hope the problems will be fixed in the future. Otherwise, the setup went very well.
