Black screen Chrome on Mac

Hey guys!

I am having an incredible unstable experience with Stadia today. Very bad lag spikes that make the game turn black multiple times pr minut! I have to refresh the browser to get it running again and then it starts all over again.

I can't play 5 minutes without issues and it's honestly starting to ruin the experience..

@HajiSan Has it always been like that, or is it a one time experience? If it just happened once, there might be a spike with regards to your internet connection. Or maybe anyone else using the same network was downloading/streaming?

I say keep monitoring while making sure that nobody else is doing heavy streaming/downloading while you play, and see if your experience improves.

Try installing the stadia web app. I get better performance with it. And you can pin it in the dock

Go on stadia.com and on the address bar, you will see a little square with an arrow, click on it

@jayo2k found it thanks. But it didn't really make any difference.

@Ivan I'm having the issues constantly ever since i've made this post. My connection is super unstable for no reason. Since I'm having no problem with anything else, streaming or downloading. My connection is between 40/60mbit download and I'm running wireless. I don't have the option to have a wired connection, since my macbook doesn't have a ethernet port.

Do you have any firewall, Adblock or anything? Have you tried incognito?
