Hi,

I live in Canada and bought my copy of the game on Dec. 13th. On the day of the purchase, there was no mention anywhere that the offer was done. Including your help site and an avalanche of new sites covering the offer.

With the exemption of the Reddit thread (that I only found today), Google did a very poor job of disclosing this information before purchases continued. Is there any chance I can get a refund? The only reason I made the purchase was because of the promotion. I see no value in a game I can't play.

Also feels a bit like plenty of us had to gamble on whether we were gonna get the device or not, which makes it a very expensive lottery ticket.

Hey @SurtAhti,

when you ordered before 4 PM PT on December 13 you're still eligible for the offer. So important in your case is the time.

Sure though, the closure was a bit short notice now, but it is what it is.

You can play though even without a Premiere edition as you can play on your mobile phone in the Stadia app and/or your Chrome Browser (via stadia.google.com) without a controller or Chromecast. The premiere edition is just important if you want to play on TV.

But if you still want a refund, here is how you can do:

Go to your order history on Google Play.
Click the 3 dots on the right side of the game you want to refund.
Click on "Request refund".

Are you aware you can play Stadia without a Chromecast Ultra and controller?
Stadia is available for mobile (Android for now, iOS will follow shortly), Chrome (so your PC or your Mac) and mouse and keyboard support for most of the games, it even has third party controller support on Chrome/Mobile.

Then again if you wanted to play it on TV without connection your PC to the TV you will need a Chromecast Ultra.

What happens if you have played for more than 2 hours? I have not received a message saying that I am not eligible for the offer, so I continued playing. For how long can I request a refund? Thanks.
