It's such a rare occurrence - but, absolutely underlined how reliant I'd come on my YT, Gmail, Google Home assistant and Stadia. We take it all for granted.... a thousand blessings to the Gods of Tech... keep me connected.

With the outage for Google services today it was a reminder of just how quickly Stadia has become central to our lives. Of course other services, consoles and hardware also rely on the internet these days - you can't play many games without a connection, but we've got so used to it just always working we forget that issues can happen!

Stadia is back up now so all is well with the world again

Exactly why I have backups for everything. I'm still copping the PS5 and a handheld portable console just in case something goes wrong.
