&lt;P&gt;Yes that is the best way to use VP9. You can use unofficial plugins like Stadia Enhanced to force VP9. This way your cpu is going to do the VP9 proces.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No, it is not required.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you are using Windows, with your Chrome-Based browser, download the chrome-extension "Stadia Enhanced."&amp;nbsp; This will allow you to force H.264 Video, and will get Hardware Acceleration.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you are using Linux... I hope your processor is fast, because you will not get Hardware Acceleration.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
